matticusdecimusrex After a decade from their last release the Thickets once again brought the thunder. The album from to back is a masterpiece. I've been telling people who've never heard the Thickets to run, don't walk, and listen loud. Favorite track: The Great Molasses Disaster.

BuckNuttyRed I have to say, DotHT have achieved and surpassed what they have already built up previously. This album is hilarious, Lovecraftianesque, and a document to how gifted these bards really are. Here in America they would be rich and miserable, unlike the rest of us who are currently just miserable! Thanks Thickets for providing unfathomably horrific joy. Favorite track: Varcolac.

The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets Vancouver, British Columbia

In 1992 some nerds living in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia Canada, who were into H.P. Lovecraft's weird horror fiction and roleplaying games, decided to start a band. With no musical training but with a penchant for spine-tingling monster costumes, they began "writing" "music" and showcasing their unique brand of humor and horror at local venues.
